How do you reset the EdenPURE heater? ›

First, you should unplug the heater's power cord from the power outlet for at least 30 minutes. This will reset the internal electronics of the EdenPURE 1000 heater. Finally, plug the power cord back in to the power outlet and then, attempt to operate the heater again.

Why is my EdenPURE 1000 heater automatically turning off or blowing cold air? A dirty filter will result in the unit to automatically shut down, blow cold air or not function at all. EdenPURE heaters are equipped with a thermal fuse that automatically shuts off the power if it detects abnormally high temperatures. Placing furniture or other large items in front of the heater commonly causes the problem. Plug the unit back after 30 minutes and the obstruction is clear. Step 2Switch off the heater.

To turn the heater off, press the "Power" button, the fan will continue to run until all of the heat has been expelled and will then turn off. It is essential to remove and vacuum the rear filter of the heater for optimum performance. You can also rinse your filter carefully under running water and allow to air dry. Ensure the filter is dry before replacing. Make sure the heater rear intake is not blocked or covered.

Turn your thermostat “off”, then flip the related circuit breaker “off”. Wait 30 seconds, then turn the breaker back “on,” then the thermostat. Set the thermostat to hot or cold, whichever you prefer, and your desired temperature. This should effectively reset it.
